VinoVino Function Information and Menu

Thank you for your inquiry into having your party at Vino Vino. We are happy to send you our function menus (applicable to all tables with 12 guests or more), and a booking request form.

This menu is current at the time you receive it, however there will be seasonal adjustments made to these offerings throughout the year.

Important points:
Here are some points to note before booking your function at Vino Vino:

  • Vino Vino can accommodate parties up to 80 guests (fair-weather) or 50 (if foul) from Sunday through Thursday. Parties of 40 or more on weekends require exclusive use of the venue for which a venue charge will be negotiated.
  • We offer special occasion cakes by prior arrangement. A fee of $3 per person applies for cakes brought into the restaurant.
  • We are fully licensed and do not cater for BYO. We are licensed from 11am to 11pm
  • Please let us know in advance if any of your guests have special dietary requirements so that we may cater for them
    *We are unable to ‘pencil in’ bookings, we only take confirmed reservations for groups.
    *Reservations are confirmed when the booking request form and deposit
    (page 4) are received.
  • Numbers of guests must be confirmed the day before the booking. That number will form the minimum amount for billing.
  • Under New Zealand law we cannot serve or allow on the premise any person who is visibly intoxicated
  • During peak months (Mid-November through March) and at weekends when we face increased customer demand, there will be a time limit for your table. Please discuss your requirements with us when you book.
  • Subject to space availability and weather, we cannot guarantee seating location.
  • We prepare one bill only for group functions.

Shared Platters of chilli roasted chicken, bbq spare ribs and Italian sausage with garlic bread, chutney, olives, and roasted garlic . Served with bowls of salad and fries with aioli. Followed with chocolate fudge brownies & fresh fruit.

ROAST LAMB RUMP on a greek salad with basil pesto
DRY MARINATED CHICKEN BREAST served with a potato rosti over a salad of tomatoes,

PAN FRIED MONKFISH tossed with green beans, bacon & olives
served with lemon & olive oil mashed potatoes and red onion jam
CHARGRILLED SCOTCH FILLET with chunky chips, roast mushrooms, caramelised red onions and a rum & cracked pepper sauce
